Nubble Light Decorated with Christmas Lights, Maine
Nubble Light in York, Maine, was first illuminated in 1879 and still lights the way for mariners today. Each December the lighthouse and buildings are decorated with lights to celebrate the Christmas season. Its fourth-order Fresnel lens dates to 1891. The light was automated in 1987.
